Second Line Celebrations
The Tribute Brass Band
At Lasting Tributes, we believe that every life deserves a meaningful and memorable farewell. For families who wish to celebrate their loved one’s life with music and joy, we proudly partner with The Tribute Brass Band — a spirited group of musicians who bring the heart and soul of a New Orleans–style “Second Line Celebration” right here to Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
The Tribute Band blends tradition, community, and celebration — turning moments of remembrance into uplifting tributes filled with energy, love, and life. Whether accompanying a procession through the streets of Easton or creating a joyful atmosphere outside our funeral home, their music reminds us that every life is worth celebrating.
Experience a Second Line Celebration
A Second Line Celebration is more than just a musical performance — it’s a time-honored tradition that transforms mourning into movement, grief into gratitude, and remembrance into rhythm. The “first line” represents the family and loved ones, while the “second line” is the community who joins in to celebrate life through song, dance, and spirit.
At Lasting Tributes, we are honored to help families who wish to include this unique and meaningful experience as part of their farewell tribute.
