Bill...Lots of great memories with you...Jerry and I enjoyed many a night at some Annapolis bar just hanging out...I first met you in my first period horticulture class at Southern High school...we had a lot of fun an learned so much about plants...The day that Jerry passed in the hospital and you were in the room with me, that meant so much....you will be truly missed...Debbie ❤️

When Billy was a teenager his family moved into Saunders Point. His school bus stop was next to Jerry's house & he made fast friends with the Turks — friendships that lasted a lifetime. Scott & Bill had too many good times to count — working construction together, Bill had no fear of doing things he never did before, with crazy confidence. He was STRONG as an OX! Bill is the reason Scott met Robin - "just one more drink" in Chickie's on a Sunday night — The Fates had it going on, alongside Billy. This week marks 40 years later from that Sunday night. THANK YOU, BILL! You were JOY, You were LIGHT, You were BEAUTIFUL, You were sometimes a pain in the arse — BUT WE CHOOSE TO REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD STUFF — BECAUSE THERE WAS PLENTY!!

I was Bill’s nurse for a bit & we were close instantly. I hid in his room from the chaos of our unit and we talked about life. He spoke to me about his life lessons & would tell me all the staff that he wasn’t fond of. His second to last day he told me he loved me and even though we had such a short time together I know he meant it because I bragged to everyone about our bond! He could be spicy to some and they knew it but he was so fun to talk to. We’d always celebrate the small wins we had together in the hospital and when it was discharge day I hardly recognized him in his work boots and jeans and he teased that I only recognized him with his gown. He was an awesome guy and will truly be missed! Sending lots of love to his beautiful blue eyed family!!
So deeply sorry to hear this …. The first time I came to visit my husband Dave in the USA Billy took us out on the Chesapeake Bay fishing. It was a beautiful day which I’ll never forget. ❤️ Thinking of you all at this time .
