My sister, Shirley, has been a very spirited and independent woman, who has lived a very Christian life, even though she has been handicapped since birth with a very crippling bone disease; but this has not hindered her in having a very successful and full life. She has now discarded her wheelchair and is running the streets of gold in Heaven on strong new legs. My wife and I will always cherish the bond and love we have shared with Shirley. Shirley will be missed by many friends and family. She never let her disability get her down. She always had a smile on her face and lit up the room when she came in. She loved everyone and everyone who knew her loved her. I know when she entered heaven that heaven lit up. Nancy, Allen, Gary and the rest of her friends and family there will great her with open arms. My prayers and condolences go out to her family and friends that she has left but she will be their angel and she will be smiling down on everyone. Rest I peace Shirley I love you 💔💔
So many memories, where do I start...well when Mom and I where there we all had our wine..pulling out the bed and Harold buying a new mattress before we arrived for one of our visits. Everyone getting together for crab dinners...you taking my calls in the middle of the night.. I remember when you and Nana came and lived with us for awhile in Florida ..I will miss you with all my heart and so grateful you where always there for me..your strength and laughter💛💛💛😍just being...big hugs and love♡♡♡

Aunt Shirley has always been young at heart and fun to be with. From my earliest childhood memories on, she always made me feel like she was so happy to see me or hear from me when I called. I never felt like she was handicapped or someone to feel sorry for. She was full of life and cared about everyone else's life. She knew everyone, loved every family member across the miles, and no one she met ever forgot her. Her smile and her laugh will forever live in my heart. I thank God for the miracle of her life, and answering her prayers to take her home to live with Him in a new heavenly body.
