Ruth Kilby Finnblade's Obituary
Ruth Finnblade of Annapolis passed away on October 4th at Hillhaven in Beltsville Maryland. She was 93.
Ruth was born on October 6, 1930, in Hyattsville, Maryland to Herndon and Vera Kilby. She was the youngest of six children. Ruth grew up in the Hyattsville area and married Richard Finnblade in 1950 and started her own family. They had 3 children-Pamela, husband Andy Hurajt; Kim, husband Carlo Bianchini: and Richard, wife Diane Finnblade.
Ruth also has six grandchildren: Kristine Hurajt: Erica Kelly, husband Patrick Kelly; Nicholas Finnblade, wife Emily Finnblade; Lisa Bianchini, Rachel Finnblade, and Kathryn Finnblade. She had 3 great granchildren which she called her GG’s-Scarlett Finnblade, Nicholas Finnblade, and Olivia Kelly.
Ruth worked for USDA as a librarian and retired in 1993. Ruth married Dick McClosky in 1985 and moved to Annapolis in 1992. Ruth and Dick spent lots of time exploring Annapolis. They enjoyed their children and grandchildren as well as their extended family of friends.
There will be a gathering to celebrate Ruth’s life on November 2 in Harbor Hills located at 1 Carson Cove, Davidsonville, MD 21035 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
