Ricky and I dated for a couple of weeks in junior high school. He was in 7th grade, and I was in 8th. I robbed the cradle! :). He, Suzie Purdum and I used to take walks in the neighborhood where he grew up. He was the cutest boy in school! I am honored to have known him. I had been in touch with Ricky on FB in the last few months and we were planning to meet in Annapolis, where I also live, for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, it did not happen before he was drafted as one of G-d's Angels. I pray for healing for his family and friends. Rest in Peace Ricky sweetheart. xoxo ~Linda S. Rick and I were classmates at Damascus High. I was very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Rick as kind and easy going. He had many friends and was loved by all. My thoughts and prayers reach out to your family.

Rick and I worked together for many years. He always brought a good joke and cheerful attitude to the job even when we were up to our knees in mud, menhaden and jellyfish. He was a professional who could always connect with the people we serve regardless of their social status or their problem. He will be missed by many.

I am deeply saddened by my friend Rick's passing. I shall always remember the good times we shared electro-shocking bass, talking about hunting & fishing, and his dedication & passion for the great oudoors. He was a true gentleman who educated me on the life cycle of largemouth bass on Maryland's tidal rivers. He loved his job, and was a wonderful friend who represented the Maryland Fisheries Service in the highest capacity. I will miss seeing him at the Black Bass Roundtable in 2014. R.I.P. Rick.
