Richard Louis Lage's Obituary
Richard L. Lage, 70, of Annapolis, died April 2 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
He was born October 26, 1943, in Bloomington, Illinois, the son of Louis H. and Dorothy L. Cline Lage.
Richard was a 1961 graduate of Octavia High School. He was drafted into the Navy and served in Annapolis. Upon discharge from the Navy, he worked at Bay Hills Golf Course. During this time, he attended the University of Maryland and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting. He received his CPA designation and worked for the State of Maryland until his retirement in 2009.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Lage of Annapolis; Rebecca O’Hara and her husband, Michael, of San Diego, CA. Richard is also survived by his four grandsons, Tyler Lage, Jonathan Lage, and Connor and Carson O’Hara; one sister, Ellen and husband, Steven Kollmann; one brother, Stephen Lage and wife, Linda; and many nieces and nephews in Illinois and Missouri.
