Marshall Cole McClean's Obituary
Marshall Cole McClean a resident of Jupiter Island, FL, 81, passed away on November 16, 2023, in Annapolis.
Marshall was born in West Warwick, RI, on October 25, 1942, the son of Henry Marshall McClean and Adeline Crowell (Cole) McClean. Marshall graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was shortly thereafter deployed to Berlin, Germany, where he served as a First Lieutenant. Due to his outstanding performance, upon discharge Marsh was promoted to Captain.
Upon returning home, Marsh was drawn to the world of Finance, Investments and Wealth Management. As a Senior Vice President, Marsh had a talented team that together, created The Monument Group in Washington, DC. Marshall retired in 2006 and fulfilled a dream of living on the water in Annapolis and Florida. His love of the water began in early childhood; he loved boating as well as skiing with family and friends. He and his daughter Tiffany shared a love of animals and the natural world. With Estela, he found not only a best friend but a fantastic travel companion.
Marsh is survived by his wife of 19 years, Estela McClean; daughter, Tiffany McClean; his sisters, Meredith Whittaker and Melanie Sullivan; as well as close cousins, nieces and nephews.
