Our profound sympathy goes out to the McClean family from Linda, me and the entire Varone family. The Varone's have known the McClean's for over 70 years and our lives have been intertwined in countless ways. We moved into our house on River Drive in South Attleboro 2 weeks after the McCleans moved into their home. Marsh was 16 days younger than me. We went to the same schools and were in the same classes throughout our childhood. We also were in scouts and played the same sports together. The similarities of our families also included the closeness of Carol and Merry as well as Melanie and Nancy. Marsh and I renewed our friendship through random and sometime surprising times. I reconnected when Marsh worked at the Foxboro Company after his discharge from the Army. We connected again when the company I worked for transferred me to Virginia. I met Tiffany when Marsh and she came to my house so my Mom, who was visiting Linda and I me, could make the meatballs that he loved since a child in South Attleboro. Perhaps the most extraordinary reconnection was at our 65th high school reunion when we learned that Estele and I worked with each other.
