Linda Kathryn Cullins' Obituary
Linda Kathryn Cullins, (nee Daugherty), age 75, and a 26 year resident of Annapolis, passed away on October 20 at 5 am after a long battle with Dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease.
Born September 28, 1948 in Phillipi, West Virginia, Linda was raised on her family’s farm outside Phillipi. A 1966 graduate of Philip Barbour High School, she then worked in the Federal Government in Washington, DC. She held multiple positions in several different agencies rising to the Grade of GS-14. Agencies included the Small Business Administration, The White House Office of Hispanic Affairs, the Department of Agriculture, and the Internal Revenue Service.
Linda attended Northern Virginia Community College. She was an avid reader, gardener, and loved all animals.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard (Dick), her sister Mary Poling, sister-in-law, Linda Wilcox, and loving nieces, nephews, and their children. Above all, Linda will be remembered for her kindness to all who knew and loved her.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 1-2 pm at Lasting Tributes, 814 Bestgate Road, Annapolis MD 21401 with a committal ceremony occurring immediately following at her home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake or Charter Senior Living of Annapolis.
