Larry was my best friend at UNO. We both participated in AFROTC and were commisioned at the same time. We went bowling together, played cards with friends, spent many hours talking about life, and spent one summer at the Green Giant Pee factory in Wisconsin. He was a groomsman at my wedding.
Larry was a very intelligent person who could figure out almost anything in a few seconds. He had 20/10 vision in one eye and 20/15 in the other, like eagle vision. He was a natural fit as an Air Force pilot. He led by example. Larry was an overall outstanding human being who made a difference in the lives of everyone who knew him.
It was my privilege to know him for my 4 years at UNO. I also knew his younger brother, Leonard, and his parents, spending much time at their home during that time.
May God bless him!
