We bought our first house at Fairfield Beach with two young daughters. Our part-time neighbors, Ron and Judie, were a blessing we didn't know we needed. Our times spent at a picnic table in the back yard playing cards, making baskets, and discussing sport and politics with Ron and Judie were some of the best we've had. Our hearts are with Rachel, Rhonda, Jarrod and the rest of the family. Your Mom and Dad (and aunts and uncles) were, and are, some of our favorite people. (and you too).

Judie and I would still talk after we both moved away, mostly about the Buckeyes prospects, but also about our families, and all problems in the world that we had solutions for. (which was most)

We'll miss you Jude......thanks for being our friend.

I can't even put into words the feeling I would always get when Aunt Judie and Uncle Ron visited. You always knew you were loved, important, and exactly who they wanted to be spending their time with. They loved my sister and shared with us the crushing feeling of loss we felt when she passed, they loved my mom wholeheartedly even after my parents divorced, gifting her with a Hise Reunion t-shirt because she would always be the Hise they loved the most! They both welcomed my husband into the family even though the first time they met him was at our wedding! After Uncle Ron passed, Aunt Judie carried that torch and continued to listen, love, and care about all of us. She's going to be missed....a lot!

I loved getting to know you, Judie. Even in your toughest time, you were sweet and kind and funny. My heart goes out to your kids - Rachel, Rhonda, and Jerrod - and their families and the extended family. Wishing you all peace and love during this difficult time.
