Judie was such a wonderful friend and a true blessing in our lives. We are so grateful that we had the chance to know her and share so many special memories and moments together. She was always smiling…truly, ALWAYS. Her joy was contagious to everyone around her. Judie was the kind of person who was always ready to help, incredibly thoughtful, and constantly showing her love for others through her actions.
She will always be remembered with deep love and appreciation. In her sweet remembrance, we will continue to be right by Rachel’s side and the entire Hise family. Please know that you can always count on us for whatever you need. Judie’s kindness and warmth will live on in all of us.

Judie was a caring, passionate person. In her early years, she was a trail blazer, a strong advocate for women’s rights, and a defender of justice. Throughout her life, she celebrated women who reached the pinnacle of success in their fields. Likewise, she valued diversity and embraced inclusion in every chapter of her life.
Judie was highly intelligent and well read. My fondest memories of Judie are sitting with her at the kitchen table discussing politics and life in general. Our conversations were sometimes deep, often light, and always worthwhile. Inevitably, the conversation would turn to her children and grandchildren. She was so very proud of their achievements and life choices.

We bought our first house at Fairfield Beach with two young daughters. Our part-time neighbors, Ron and Judie, were a blessing we didn't know we needed. Our times spent at a picnic table in the back yard playing cards, making baskets, and discussing sport and politics with Ron and Judie were some of the best we've had. Our hearts are with Rachel, Rhonda, Jarrod and the rest of the family. Your Mom and Dad (and aunts and uncles) were, and are, some of our favorite people. (and you too).
Judie and I would still talk after we both moved away, mostly about the Buckeyes prospects, but also about our families, and all problems in the world that we had solutions for. (which was most)
