Work History:
29+ years of dedicated service producing U.S. Banknotes and U.S. Postage Stamps at The Dept. Of Treasury’s Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
He entered service as an industrial control electrician and worked his way through the Electro-Machinist program (99.9% GPA in the four year cross training program), he served nine years getting the BEP Texas facility up and running as a journeyman EM, then into the Office of Product Development as a production specialist, then into the role of Engineering Project Manager (six sigma black belt), and was serving as supervisor of the DC facility Electro-Machine Shop at the time of his passing.
He was a highly respected problem solver and project manager and quickly earned respect at every role that he was asked to fill. His work ethic, talent, and determination were second to none. He worked closely and competently with highly complex equipment support and equipment development. He was well respected throughout the international banknote industry.
