Our dearest Jodie Fingland, a devoted wife and grandmother who cherished her family above all else, passed away peacefully at her home in Annapolis, MD on Sunday, September 4th after a long illness. She was 63. She is survived by Read Obituary
Dear Bob, so very sorry for your deep lost. While distance kept me from getting to know Jodie better, the few times we spend together were special. She was such a warm and happy person. I met Jody when she was a young staffer at the AFT. She was a joy to know and work with. My heart aches for her loving parents, Herb and Barbara, and for her husband, children and grandchildren. May her memory be a blessing.

During the 2008 Hillary Clinton Primary campaign in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, my partner Karen (AFT-Oregon) and I worked with Jodie. We enjoyed that brief assignment and found Jodie to be a kindred spirit.
