Irene Patricia Cain's Obituary
Irene Patrica Cain affectionately known as “Pat” was born on November 18, 1958, in Washington, D.C. to the late Ethel and James Cain. She acknowledged God’s call and entered eternal rest on May 10, 2026.
Pat was a loving, caring, and vibrant woman whose presence could light up any room. Known as the life of the party, Pat brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone she encountered. She also enjoyed cooking, listening to music, reading, and truly enjoying life. Pat attended Eastport Elementary School, Annapolis Junior High School and Annapolis High School, where she proudly graduated with the class of 1976. She spent many years servicing the staff and students at St. Johns College of Annapolis.
Pat dedicated herself to caring for others through her work as a caregiver at Hamlet Healthcare, where she was deeply loved by both residents and her colleagues. Her compassionate spirit, kind heart and unwavering willingness to help others left a lasting impact. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with love, laughter, and joy.
She was preceded in death by her longtime companion Anthony Savoy and brothers, Bruce Cain and Carl Cain. Pat leaves a legacy of love to be cherished by her children, Lieutenant (Shereka) Powell, Silver Powell, Jordan (Brittany) Savoy, Charlee (Lamont) Randall, Candice Powell, Candice Parker, Blake Powell, Delacey Savoy, Anthony Savoy Jr., William Savoy, Antonio Savoy, Theodore Strong. Twenty-four grandchildren; siblings Keith (Tessa) Cain, Yvette Cain, Yvonne Cain, Derek Cain, and Dorcell Holland. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pat will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and the happiness she brought to all who knew her.
