Ms. Pat took wonderful care of my father, Frederick Doering when he stayed at Hamlet house when my Mom and I would go on a respite vacation. My Dad passed away on December 16, 2025 and Ms. Pat even came to his funeral. I know Ms. Pat is taking care of my Dad in heaven. She will be extremely missed and I am very grateful for the care she provided to my father and that she treated my Mom and I so well.

Pat, she was like a big sister to me. She was fierce and always looked out for me. We shared so many good times and some tears.
She knew me and I knew her and we loved each other for exactly those reasons. I moved away and we unfortunately loss touch but the often crossed my mind and every time she did, it caused it was a memory filled with laughter and joy. Rest well my sister and dear dear friend. You will be missed but not forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the family. Ms. Pat had such a beautiful smile. As a child, I remember watching her walk down Clay Street from work in her white chef jacket and black-and-white checkered pants. She always had a smile on her face and carried such a beautiful spirit. I spent many nights at her home with Tori, and those memories will always stay with me.

There are not enough words to say what "Pat" meant to me. I will just say from 1967 through 2026 we shared a Sister/Friend relationship that could never be replaced. My condolences to all that Loved her :-(

Pat was my sister's favorite caregiver over the last few years when she was working at the Hamlet. Pat would enforce the rules, but she also found many ways to show she cared about each person, often by cooking their favorite foods and celebrating them on special occasions. She was super dedicated and patient, but firm, just what my sister needed. We are grateful for her life and dedication to those she cared for, and for her faith in God. We will miss her!
