I met Vicki in 2010, when I moved to Upper Marlboro from Waldorf. We always have dogs and I needed to find a dog sister while I traveled, to see my mom. I began to check the internet and found the Debra Hoagland FTA Pet Sitter and Vicki work together with Debra. After I requested the dog sitter services, Vicki came to my house to meet with me and my beautiful boys (dogs). Vicki calls my dogs, the boys. From that day, Vicki has always taken care of my boys, alternating some of the days with Debra, and in the later years after, Debra moved out of the area with the help of Barbara. Vicki with the love and care that she gave to my boys, I knew in my heart my boys were well taken care of. To share one of the beautiful kindness from Vicky, when she started to take care of my boys for the first time while I was out of the states, she came to check on my boys and the power was out. The house was too hot inside because it happened in the month of July. So, Vicki contacted me to let me know that, because the house was so hot, she would take the three dogs to her house. Not only did she take the dogs to her house, she made sure that the food in my refrigerator didn’t get damaged, so she packed and took the food as well, saved it at her house and, when I got back, returned all the food. I did ask Vicky to keep the food, but she still when ahead, brought the food back to my house. Vicki was kind, professional, caring, trustworthy, giving so much love to my dogs, she became part of my family. Finding out that Vicki was no longer with us broke my heart. Vicki will be missed. She will forever be in my heart. To Vicki's family, my deepest condolences.🙏🏼
With much love from Marie, my daughter Karla, the boys, Maxx🐾, Kimber🐾 and Midnight🐾
Heartfelt condolences. Vicki lived an amazing life filled with adventure, hard work and purpose, especially through her deep compassion of caring for animals. She made a real difference with the people she met and animals she cared for. We will always remember how she and our Maine Coon cat, Teddy, loved to watch Columbo together during her visits. We were blessed to have her as a friend. May all her memories be a blessing for her family.
