Like many people we met Glenda Brooks at Naval Station Annapolis where she was known to have fed and provided counsel to many sailors. She was outgoing, kind, generous, but firm. She made a lasting impression on everyone she met and earned the respect from those who knew her. She was a person who kept her word and did everything she could to help people and improve the places that they worked and lived. Glenda was the most giving person and was always thinking of and putting others ahead of herself. Her love, commitment, and simple graciousness made the world a better place for all of us. Her inner strength and show of love were most evident towards the end as she fought each day with a smile and appreciation of what she had – but always still caring of others and never complaining. We feel so fortunate to have had her as a friend and to be witness to her humble way of life all these years. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. May she be in peace and our hearts forever.

Glenda was someone who gave her love and kindness to everyone especially to our brother, Wayne. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. David & Elaine
Glenda was one of the most giving people that I have ever met. An example was Glenda's insistence upon caring for my mother in her home in hopes of keeping her out of a nursing facility. They shared an incredible bond, and I will be forever grateful. She was the love of Wayne's life and will be missed by her family and her many friends.
I remember Glenda dressed up like a space man for Maddison's 5th or 6th birthday, Maddie was was so excited !!!! Glenda was an awesome mom and grand mother. And her Chicken salad was " The Best"
