MR. WALKER SAFELY HOME.
Mr. Walker is home in heaven Oh so happy and so bright:
There is a perfect joy and beauty in his everylasting light.
All his pain and suffering is over, Every restless tossing passed:
Mr. Walker is at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder how so calmy he trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus love illumined every dark and fearful glade.
Family please don't grieve so sorely, For he love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our fathere's will.
There is still work waiting for us so we must not idly stand:
Do it now, while life, remaineth then we shall rest in Jesus land.s
When our work is completed, God will gently call us home:
Oh, the rapture of that meeting Mr. Walker.
Oh, the joy for him to see us come.

Our prayers are with you, We pray God will strengthen you and give you peace through your time of sorrow.
Love you all dearly.
Granddaddy,
I don't know if words can truly express the true gratitude for all that you have been in my life. You were an awesome example of a true man of God. You set the standard in my life for any man who dared to follow in your footsteps. You were my example of how a man should love, adore and especially SPOIL me...(LOL)... You spoiled me like no other. I knew I was the gem of your life as you helped raise me. The only bad part is that it was a tough act to follow and poor Derrick is catching it cause he hasn't gotten all the way to your level yet... He's working hard at it so maybe one day...LOL!
I am sure as you listened to music and determined your favorites, you didn't think of how the words of the songs would mimic your life. But as I think of your battle of cancer of think of one of your favorites "Rough Side of the Mountain". It was so fitting as for your last years you climbed the rough side of the mountain of sickness. However, the benefit of climbing the rough side of the mountain is that on the smooth side you would risk falling back down, but on that rough side when you started to slip you could catch and hold on to a branch, a tree, a stump, and a rock while continuing to strive to the top. I believe it was on that rough side of the mountain that you were able to build a closer relationship with God. While your race here is done and while our hearts will feel a void, we know now that your heartaches are gone and you can finally hear the Savior say “Welcome Home”… You will truly be missed.
Love Always,
Ebony
A true man of faith, strength and courage. We will miss you Uncle Gene. RIP
Granddaddy,
You've are the strongest person I know. Not many people could go toe-to-toe with cancer for 13 years. May you rest in peace!
Love always,
Kenya
