I worked with Esther at NSA for a number of years. After her retirement, I received Christmas and Birthday cards from her. She included an update of her family and how she was feeling. Each card had an inspirational message. Even after her stroke, she continued to send cards. I received my last birthday card this past July. Over the years, I have kept her notes. I will miss her voice through her writings.

To the family of Esther, I was so sad to hear the news that Esther passed away. I managed the Curves where Esther was a vibrant member. I always looked forward to Monday&Wednesday mornings, scanning the parking lot for Esther’s arrival—long before the sun rose. When she entered the gym, her hug was special and sincere.
