Uncle Ed was so much fun when we were little. He was always kidding and joking around with us. And he was so big and strong. We will always remember his visits to see us in Auburn, Mass., when he would drive the family up from Maryland. Tommy, Jimmy, and I would be beside ourselves for days before, whenever we knew that our cousins from Maryland were coming. Those memories are some of the happiest memories of our childhood. We loved you Uncle Ed! May you be at peace now and forever! Love, Tommy and Patty Lynch (and Jimmy, who is waiting to greet you in Heaven)
Patty, the beautifully written obit gave me a wonderful feeling about your dad. Long marriage, children, country service, hobbies and post office employment. You have reason to be proud. Blessings to you, your dear mother and sister. Prayers and a candle will be offered from my home. I love you, Patty.
