Daniel Patrick Moloney's Obituary
Daniel Patrick Moloney was born into this world on April 11, 1975 in the suburbs of Chicago to his mother Jacqueline. As a child Dan attended Catholic schools, eventually graduating from Catholic Central High School in Burlington Wisconsin in 1993. Dan kept those years busy by not only excelling in his academics, but by playing football, baseball, basketball, or any sport he could manage to get to play; he loved his sports!
Dan moved away for college, attending New Mexico State University graduating with a degree in communications in 2001. He then moved back north to Cleveland and attended Case Western Reserve University where he got his Juris Doctor or JD degree, allowing him to practice the law. Dan made his way to Maryland shortly after graduation. He spent many years working for insurance companies in workers' compensation cases, until he moved to the other table and opened his law firm, Moloney Law in 2014, specializing in workers’ compensation for the injured. Dan had a goal of “Helping People Become Whole”, which was more than a marketing line, but a mantra of how Dan practiced law.
Dan and Stacey welcomed two wonderful children, Natalie and Cooper, whom he loved dearly. When not with his children or work, he enjoyed sports of all kinds, reading, and most of all playing golf! Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grandma and Papa Naughton, who were instrumental in his life. He leaves his children Natalie and Cooper, his mother Jacqueline, sister Tricia, many loving Aunts and Uncles, 12 cousins and too many friends to count all to mourn him.
