I just received the horrible news, and my heart is truly heavy. I was Dan's very first injury case under his own firm. I’ll never forget how he personally asked his former employer if he could continue working with me so that I could become his first client as he stepped out on his own. That meant everything to me.
I appreciated Dan deeply , not just as an attorney, but as a man who shared my love and passion for sports and for helping others. In his honor, my organization Davis Athletics Development will be hosting a memorial basketball game to celebrate his life, his legacy, and the impact he made.
I am still at a loss for words at this devastating news. My sincerest condolences go out to his wife, his children, his family, and his friends. May God bring them strength, comfort, and peace during this incredibly difficult time.

Never had the opportunity to meet Daniel. What I know for sure is how much he was loved by his mother, Jackie. When Jackie talked about Dan her 'mama bear' love and pride was on full display. The world has lost a good man. May your grieving hearts be comforted.
