Carl Butler's Obituary
Carl Levon Butler was born on August 5, 1966 in Annapolis, MD to the proud parents of George and Eleanor Butler. He flew away to be with the angels on Friday, January 24, 2014. Carl was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School System. Carl was a jack of all trades. Over the years, he acquired a multitude of skills but his passion was working on cars. He became known to close family and friends as “Mr. Fix-it”.
His hobbies included bowling, listening to music, playing with his grandkids and being the life of the party. Carl enjoyed having get- together’s with family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Roslyn D. Butler. He also leaves 3 daughters Keyora Butler of Glen Burnie, Shanyka Butler of Baltimore, and Carla Butler of Annapolis. A step-daughter, Dineica Davis of Baltimore, and her husband Earnest, and a step-son Kion Mackell of Severn, and his wife Alaina. Carl was blessed with 10 grandchildren whom he loved to play with—he shared a special bond with each of them.
He also leaves to mourn his memory his parents, George and Eleanor Butler of Annapolis; 5 sisters: Sandra Butler, Joyce Griffin, GeorgeEtta Butler, Geraldine Poole, and Carol Brown; 7 brothers: Kelvin Butler, Michael Butler, Dallas Butler, Charles Butler, Lester Butler, Robert Butler, and Wayne Brown. Carl was also blessed to have an abundance of nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.
