Barbara Ann (Midge) McNamara's Obituary
Barbara A. McNamara (Midge), 65, passed away May 20th at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, MD. She was born on October 5, 1945 in Leonardtown, MD and, at the time of her death, was a resident of Odenton, MD.
Midge worked at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, and retired from there after 30 years of service.
Midge never met a person that she didn’t like. She was kind, compassionate and loving to all those who knew her. Her favorite thing to do was shop and she fondly referred to it as “shopping therapy.”
Midge is survived by her daughter, Kim Kahl of Severn; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Cathy Kahl of Cape St. Claire; grandson, Tyler Kahl; three sisters, Joan Trentham of Smithfield, VA, Fran Parrotta of Dunlap, TN, and Jeanne Murphy of Odenton, MD; two brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial mass on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21409.
