Ann Denise Sullivan's Obituary
Ann Denise Sullivan, of Washington DC, passed away on August 23, 2021.
Born on July 15, 1957, in Cheverly, MD to Joseph and Jean Sullivan, Ann attended High Point Sr. High in Beltsville, Maryland and later Hong Kong International School before enrolling and graduating from the University of Maryland College Park with a bachelor’s degree in general arts and a master’s degree in Library Science.
Ann went on to enjoy a 40-year career at the Library of Congress where she worked as SENIOR Cataloger for the children’s and young adults’ team. While there, she was awarded volunteer of the year and was featured in the library of congress gazette newsletter in 2019.
Ann loved long walks and bike riding as well as traveling to New York City to see broadway musicals. But her favorite pastime of all was attending Washington Nationals games.
She is survived by her mother Jean Ruth Sullivan and her brother Michael B. Sullivan.
