God bless the family rest ๐ in peace
My prayers goes out to the family, Trusting God to give strength and comfort in this time of loss. I have known Ms. Handy for at least 8 years. We worked together at the Bates Residence front desk. She would tell me of the different jobs she had in life. It was amazing how versatile she was. We became good friends and she will never be forgotten. I learned from her you never say I canโt but we trust God and the abilities He has given and keep it moving. It was a pleasure knowing herโผ๏ธโผ๏ธโผ๏ธ. Lovingly summited Trany Durant
We here at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center, extend of deepest sympathy to the Family of our beloved Alva "Tinky" Handy. She was a Volunteer who did whatever was asked of her for over 10 years. She will be deeply missed by us all here at the Center. It will be hard to look at her desk everyday without her there.

May God Bless the Family of Alva Dorsey Handy. She was my friend & when we worked together at the Community Action Agency we shared many lunches, breakfasts, snacks, laughs, jokes, tears, advice, stories about our families & most importantly LOVE ๐ Alva joked about the Cisco Kid & Pancho & we would even sing the song and when it was time to leave work she would say Hey Cisco, Pancho needs a ride & we would roll out, make our stops & then sit, laugh & talk some more.
She truly loved her children, God, her friends & even friends she had not yet made. She shared her wisdom about life & love with me and our time was always special. Rest on My Friend ๐ God makes no mistakes and now you have that Heavenly Home we often talked about ๐๐๐ฝ๐ You will always hold a place in my Heart โ Sharon
To the family,
I send my sincere condolences on the loss of Ms. Tinkie
