William Luigi Rigoli's Obituary
William Rigoli passed away at home with the comfort of his family on February 18, 2021.
Born on August 7, 1923 in Washington DC to Stefano and Edith Rigoli.
He grew up and lived In Glendale, Maryland with his brother Radford.
Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Betty Rigoli and his daughter Michelle Zentgraf.
Survived by his son Steven Rigoli and his son Edward Early; and the light of his life, his grandson Michael Rigoli .
He enlisted in the Navy towards the end of World War II where he retired with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He went on to graduate from Georgetown University where he obtained a law degree. He moved to Annapolis with his family in 1967 and continued practicing law until his retirement. A a member of Saint Margaret’s Church in Annapolis he was a lifelong member of the brotherhood of Saint Andrews. Bill took pride in his numerous flower and vegetable gardens.
He will forever be missed by his family and friends. His family wishes to thank Ann Samson and her staff from A Helpers Heart for their help and support over the last few years. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Margaret's Church, Annapolis in William's name.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Lasting Tributes Cremation and Funeral Care. His funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Lasting Tributes and will be livestreamed for guests to attend virtually.
