William Joseph “Joe” Keffer of Annapolis, MD, Formerly of Palm Beach, FL
William Joseph Keffer, 62, a resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Palm Beach, FL passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
Born on January 23, 1954 in Germany to David and Violet Keffer, Joe graduated from Bowie High School. After spending time traveling, he went to work for Freightliner where he was a top sales representative. His entrepreneurial spirit then led him to opening two go cart tracks and a business in the automotive industry.
He is survived by his daughter, Cortney Hergenroeder (Hans) of MD; his grandsons, Brody and Blake Hergenroeder of MD; his parents, Violet and David Keffer of CA; his siblings, Michael Keffer (Pat) of CA, Patricia Fenwick of HI; and his nieces & nephews.
Joe lived life to the fullest and tried to help others every chance he had. He was a dreamer who was always making big plans. He loved making others laugh, boating, fishing, traveling, motorcycles and being the life of the party.
Friends and family are welcomed to celebrate Joe’s life. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 27th at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship (377 W Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035).
