William F. Hardesty Sr.'s Obituary
William F. Hardesty of Heritage Habour in Annapolis died June 28th at Annapolitan Assisted Living.
Billy was born in Edgewater on October 24, 1941. He graduated from Southern High School in 1960 and began his career as an electrician. Later in his career he was employed by the Architect of the Capitol before his retirement.
Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, playing golf and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Jean Hardesty, two sons, William F. Hardesty, Jr. of Woodstock, Va., Richard Glen Hardesty of Deale, Md., two brothers, Gilbert Hardesty (wife Gloria) and Robert Hardesty (wife Joan), and aunt, Marjorie Moreland.
A reception in remembrance of Billy will be held on July 18, 2014 from 3-5 PM at 412 Pollinghouse Rd., Harwood, MD. Family and friends are cordially invited.
