Warren Eugene Holliday Sr.'s Obituary
Warren Holliday, Sr., 59, of Annapolis, Maryland, departed this life on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, Maryland. He was born August 24, 1958 to the late John Holliday, Jr. and late Margaret E. Green.
Warren affectionately known as “Doc Holliday” attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools. He was employed at Crownsville Hospital and Anne Arundel County Schools until he retired in 2016.
Warren was a gentle giant that was loved by all who knew him. He was an honest charming man who said what he meant and meant what he said. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a lifelong fan of the Washington Redskins. In his prime he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball; well known for his speed and his strength. When he walked into a room most people would smile, many would laugh and a few might run.
Warren leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sheila Holliday, his daughters; Tawonna Holliday, Tyonna Holliday, Latoya Durley-Holliday, Tyneice Holliday, Shyneice Holliday, Whitney Holliday all of Annapolis and his son Warren Holliday Jr. also of Annapolis. Stepchildren; Philbrick Durley, Kimaada Blair, Shahid Durley, Sherva Forrester, Tameika Johnson, Shanta Butler, Tommia Pore, preceding him in death Yameko Brown, and Dewayne Durley, 19 grandchildren, sister, Cecilia (Oscar)Holliday-Derrick of Cambridge, brother Allen(Kathleen) Holliday, Sr. of Annapolis, brother John Holliday, III of (Pennsylvania) and sister Terry (Charles) Holliday-Harris of North Carolina, father-in-law William Young, a host of sister in-laws, and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
