Walter Daniel Howard, Sr.'s Obituary
Walter Daniel Howard Sr. 70, of Severna Park MD currently residing in Daytona Beach, FL went home to be with the Lord surrounded by love on Saturday, January 7, 2017.  Walter Howard was the son of Walter Howard and Clara Howard. He was born in Baltimore, MD on October 27, 1946.
Walter received his education at Town Neck Primary School, Jones Elementary School and graduated from Wiley H. Bates class of 1964. Walter attended Morgan State University.   He enlisted in the U.S Army and was honorably discharged holding the rank of SSgt. Walter, later graduated from Sojourner Douglass College with a B.S. degree in Business Administration.  Additionally, Walter worked in many fields as, Electrical Engineer, Cement Mason, Author, Pet Shop Owner, Dog Grooming & Obedience School owner, Car Salesman, transportation driver and an entrepreneur of several different businesses.
Walter truly “Lived life to the Fullest” and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like fishing, laughing, traveling, and visiting family/friends. Above all, his love for his children was like no other, he adored watching them blossom and spending quality time with his grandchildren. Walter also enjoyed racecars, fine cuisine, going to the beach and the mountains. For many years he was a member of Town Neck United Methodist Church and sang with the Thomas Gospel Choir.
He had a captivating personality and a great sense of humor and made friends everywhere he went. Some of his favorite sayings we will never forget were “Oh Wow”, “Me hum de -da”, “I tell the truth and the facts” and “Only the Best for the Best”. He lived a happy, carefree life and was the most amazing father, family member and friend to everyone he knew.
He was preceded in death by his father Walter E. Howard. Those left to cherish memories are his devoted mother Clara Howard, two brothers Jerome Howard and Wayne Howard. Three devoted children Janel Howard, Walter Howard Jr, Nahema Witt and one son in law Justin Witt. Three loving grandchildren Davon Howard, Deja Allen, Jalen Carter, three caring aunts Jessie Walker, Elizabeth White, Lillian Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loving relatives and friends.
