I worked with Virginia for 15 years at DHCD, she was my co-worker and friend, with emphasis on friend. She taught me how to do parts of my job, but she gave me much more which was her friendship. Each day I watched her love and pride for her children and grandchildren. As I watched her with her grandchildren I became a better grandmother to my three. I will miss you my friend and you will always have a special place in my heart. Lucas and Leslie you had an extraordinary mother, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

She was my colleague in Neighborhood Revitalizatoin, in both the Balitmore and Crownsville offices. I always could rely on and appreciated her expertise and timeliness.
