Virginia Rose Henderson's Obituary
Virginia Rose Henderson, 86, passed away on March 4, 2025 at Autumn Lake - Spa Creek in Annapolis, MD.
Virginia was born in Braggadocio, MO on August 2, 1938. She was the daughter of L.Z. and Beatrice (Coldwell) Anderson. She spent some time in Flint, MI before the family moved to Chicago, IL. Virginia received her grammar and high school certificates and retired from St. Joseph Hospital.
Virginia married Henry Henderson on September 4, 1969. She attended Revelation COGIC in Chicago, IL led by her cousin, Elder Timothy Welch before relocating to Annapolis, MD in 2012. She became a member of Antioch Temple COGIC in Baltimore, MD pastored by Joseph Guion.
Virginia spent a lot of time traveling to Michigan to go fishing with Henry. She also loved singing hymns and praising the Lord. She was able to go on her 1st cruise to the Bahamas and really enjoyed her time at sea.
Virginia was predeceased by Henry in 1988 and her sister, Mary Beatrice (Anderson) Cox in 2021. She leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Interment, to include a memorial service, will be in The Last Supper Section at Oakridge/Glen Oak Cemetery in Hillside, IL 60162 on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 10:00 am.
