Victoria Evans' Obituary
Victoria H. Evans, 76 of Lutherville, Maryland. On May 13, 2023 the Lord received home one of His cherished Angels. Born in Kansas City, Kansas to Col. and Mrs. Lorenz P. Holtz, Vickie was an Air Force brat who lived all over the world. Vickie spent her formative years in Germany, Japan, Korea as well as all over the United States. She attended the University of Missouri majoring in Education. She joined the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and was the Rush Chair. Vickie and her former husband, but dear friend, Jerry Evans had 2 children. Vickie dedicated her life to raising their children. Her greatest source of joy and happiness was her children. Vickie also had a passion for helping others as shown in her volunteer work at her children’s schools as well as in the community. She had a love of interior decorating and entertaining. Vickie chaired the Baltimore Symphony Decorator Show Houses for several years. While living in California, she was the Chair of the Cancer League. Vickie then started her own interior design business helping friends, family and clients design their homes.
Vickie was a beautiful, giving, caring and loving soul both inside and out. She is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Julie Dettor and son Daniel Evans, daughter-in-law Jody; her beloved grandchildren Paul Dettor, Jr., Morgan Dettor, Ryan Evans and Conor Evans. Former husband and best friends Jerry and Anne Evans. Vickie was preceded in death by her father Col. Lorenz P. Holtz, mother Rose Holtz and son-in-law Paul Dettor.
No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a service is scheduled.
