Tyrone "Joe" Dennis' Obituary
Wilbur “Tyrone” Dennis (Joe) was born on July 20, 1967, in Tracy’s Landing to the late Richard and Anna Dennis. Tyrone was the thirteenth child of the family. At the time of his death, Tyrone resided in Shady Side, Maryland with his sister Shirley and brother-in-law Michael.
Tyrone graduated from Southern Senior High School in 1985. Over the years, he has earned the title “Mechanic’s Helper” through helping his nephew Cook with many projects in the garage.
Joe enjoyed playing video games. He loved his siblings and always checked in to make sure all was well. He was either making a phone call or sending a text message. Joe developed a close bond with his great-great niece Nova.
Tyrone suddenly departed this life on November 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Anna Dennis and brother Allen E. Dennis.
He leaves to cherish his memories, eleven sisters and brothers. Mary Blunt (James); Richard Dennis (Regina); Shirley Wiseman (Michael); Thomas Dennis; Benjamin Dennis Sr. (Hazel); Bertie Dennis; John Dennis Sr. (Edwina); Edna Washington (Thomas); Christine Washington (John); Pauline Dennis; and Laurence Dennis (Deniece). Two aunts, Catherine Blanchard, Elizabeth Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joe will truly be missed by his sister Shirley. She treasured their daily conversations and time spent together.
Tyrone's viewing will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Lasting Tributes from 10-11 am. His funeral service will begin at 11 am with burial to follow at Bestgate Memorial Park.
