Troy Darnell Redding-Blake's Obituary
Troy Darnell Redding-Blake was born on Saturday, October 15, 1966, to Debrah Y. Redding-Barnes and John R. Blake, Sr. He departed his life and began his journey literally with a smile on his face, to our Heavenly Father on April 21, 2023.
Troy is preceded in death by his father, John R. Blake, Sr.; great-grandmother, Annie Pack; grandmother, Doris Sedgwick Mathews; grandfather, Granville T. Redding, Jr.; uncles, Granville T. Redding, III, Carlos W. Redding, William Blake, and Jimmy Blake.
Troy graduated from Broadneck High School in 1985 and continued his higher education at the Anne Arundel Community College. Because of his love for animals, Troy studied to become a Veterinarian. He would bring a stray dog home in a minute and he would feed the wild ducks as well, and provide them with a swimming pool for their pleasure. His interests were in Science and History.
Even though he could work your last nerve, you just had to love his personality for the genuine person he was. His smile and laughter was contagious. Troy loved his family and friends. But, he had a special friend, Sara Malone, who had a special place in his heart. Their dedication to one another was unique and concrete.
Troy leaves to mourn: mother, Debrah Y. Redding-Barnes (Henry Barnes, Jr.); daughters, Torielle Redding, Mariah Deshazo, Trinity Neal, and Shareika Bond; son, Michael Deshazo; 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons; sisters, Teresa Green (Emmanuel Green), Monika Blake, and Kimberly Blake; brothers, John R. Blake, Jr., Marcel Blake, and step-brother, Henry Barnes, III; aunts, Van Redding (Waddy S. VanBuren, Sr.), Ernestine Blake, Raslyn Sanchez; uncles, Marvin M. Redding, Sr. (Brenda Redding), Terry N. Dunscomb, Jr., Henry Blake (Marguerite Blake), Benson Blake, Dougie Blake, Ronald Price; and great-uncle, Joseph Johnson.
