Thomas "Tommy" Andrew Ringle's Obituary
Thomas “Tommy” Andrew Ringle, passed away peacefully at his home in Arnold, Maryland, on June 23rd, 2026. He was 43 years old.
The beloved son of Thomas & Julia Ringle, Tommy was born on November 18th¸1982, in Annapolis, Maryland. He attended Annapolis Senior Highschool and later pursued a career in marine restoration and real estate appraising. Tommy was in every sense, a man who worked with his hands and loved with his whole heart. He took pride in his craft, and was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and willingness to help others. Those who watched him at work saw not only competence but joy. He volunteered at a local rehabilitation center, offering encouragement to those rebuilding their lives in recovery. This service was not performative; it was an extension of who he was: someone who believed people deserved dignity, second chances, and a listening ear.
Tommy was a compassionate and caring soul who found joy in serving those around him. He loved music and rhythm—literally. He played the drums with the same steady, generous, and fun-loving energy he brought to everything else. He thrived outdoors, with a passion for landscaping, the beach, boating, and surfing.
Tommy had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcomed, understood, and valued. Tommy was truly a bright light. He held that light for others who were struggling; offering hope, kindness, and unconditional compassion. That light will not be extinguished; it lives on in the stories we tell, the favors we return, and the kindness we pass forward. His warmth, humor, and genuine heart set him apart; as he’s touched countless lives through his generosity and love.
Above all, Tommy cherished his family. He was a beloved son, a devoted brother, and a playful uncle. He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, turning ordinary afternoons into memories they will carry with them forever. Tommy’s love extended beyond bloodlines. Friends and neighbors knew him as someone who resonated with warmth, humor, and possessed an uncanny ability to listen without judgment. Tommy’s life reminds us that greatness is often quiet. It is the person who shows up, who fixes what’s broken, who offers a ride, who volunteers time, who makes a joke to ease a heavy moment. His legacy is not a single grand achievement but a thousand small acts of kindness that added up to a life that mattered deeply to many.
Tommy’s love, laughter, and caring nature will be deeply missed but forever remembered. And yet, even in our grief, we are richer for having known him. Let us honor him by living with the same generosity, by offering our hands and our hearts without hesitation, and by keeping his memory bright in the small, everyday ways he taught us to care.
Tommy is survived by his Father, Thomas Ringle, his Mother, Julia Ringle, Sister, Lindsay Terry, Brother Christopher Ringle, Nieces Jordyn Terry, Justice Terry, and Josalynn Middleton, Nephews Anthony Terry and Mark Terry, lifelong best friend, Ryan Wheeler, along with many extended family members, friends, and all those whose lives were blessed by knowing him. Tommy’s legacy of kindness, compassion and unwavering love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. Although he is no longer with us, the light he shared with the world will never fade.
Information regarding Tommy’s celebration of life will be available to the public at a later date. Until then, may we continue to carry his light forward—smiling, laughing, singing and unmistakably Tommy.
