My condolences to family and friends of Mr. Reppert.
As a child growing up across the street from the Reppert's, both Marty and Tom were always so kind to me. Always known as Mr. Tom to me, it was one evening when I was a child that he invited me into his front yard to allow me to gaze through his amazing telescope. This simple act of kindness helped foster my own interest in astronomy. Although, many years have past by since then, every once in a while when I would be visiting home, the neighborhood would be having one of its block parties, and I would be lucky enough to chat with both Marty and Tom. So grateful that I had the opportunity to know them both and to be able to personally say "thank you" to Mr. Tom for sparking my interest in the hobby of astronomy.
He will be missed!
