Thomas Gorman Redman's Obituary
Thomas Gorman Redman of Annapolis, MD passed away on June 3, 2017. He was born on December 16, 1939 in Washington, D.C., to William and Doris (nee Middleton) Redman.
Thomas received his undergraduate degree from Towson University, and later completed his law degree at the University of Baltimore. He served in the United States Air Force. Thomas retired from the Anne Arundel County Government in 2000, and was a member of the Annapolis Elks. He was an avid sportsman, especially baseball, basketball and golf. He also loved playing cards.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Esther, of over 50 years; two sons, Jason (Emily) of Cary, NC, and Andrew (Amy) of Rockville, MD; three grandchildren, Joshua, Ian, and Caroline; two brothers, David (Lorraine) of Woodbridge, VA and William (Diana) of Churchton, MD; one sister, Carol Crandell of Annapolis, MD; and a large and loving extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas’ memory may be made to the American Heart Association (4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060, or www.heart.org/donate). A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
