Thomas Michael Kennedy's Obituary
Thomas “Tom” Michael Kennedy, 77, passed away at his Severna Park home on April 4, 2024, following a brief battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones and his beloved dog, Samson.
Born on September 27, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thomas Roger Kennedy and his wife, Angela Maria (Caroselli), he lived briefly in San Francisco, California and Naples, Italy before moving to Baltimore, Maryland. A graduate of Loyola College of Maryland and a member of the The Maryland National Guard, he worked in banking and insurance until his retirement in 2018.
Tom loved sailing, reading and photography, and enjoyed learning new hobbies. A regular at Lowe’s, he was always working on new projects for the house and boat.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary; his daughter Katherine King and her husband Brett; his son Thomas Matthew Kennedy and his fiance Samantha; his sister Monica Kennedy; his grandson Brooks King; as well as many extended family members.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 116 Marydell Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD, by St Charles Catholic Apostolic Church, (location is formerly St Christopher's Episcopal, now SMSA Coptic Christian on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10am, with a luncheon to follow. All are welcome. Interment will be held at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery on Monday April 22 at 10am
