Thomas Scott Daywalt's Obituary
Thomas Scott Daywalt of Ridgely, MD, passed from this earthly life in the early
morning hours of November 22, 2022 after a 2.5 year battle with colon cancer.
He was 56. Born in Annapolis, MD on April 25, 1966, he was the son of the late
Robert J. Daywalt, Jr. and Virginia Daywalt.
Tommy attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools, graduating from
Annapolis High School in 1984. He worked for a time as a supervisor for the
Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police dispatch. In his early adult
years, he was active with the West Annapolis Volunteer Fire Department.
Tommy loved cooking for a crowd, especially family gatherings. He also
enjoyed fishing, the Delaware casinos, and helping others whenever he could.
Besides his parents, Tommy is predeceased by his sister, Angela Durner. He is
survived by brothers Bobby Daywalt of Ridgely, MD, and Charles Daywalt (Lisa)
of Stevensville, sisters Judy McCartney (Joe) of Henderson, MD and Dawn
Davis (George Rider) of Delmar, DE, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts
and uncles and extended family.
We will miss our Tommy and pray for eternal peace and healing for him.
