Terrence Ricardo Hicks Jr.'s Obituary
Terrence Ricardo Hicks, Jr., son of Lenora Stansbury and the late Terrence Hicks, Sr., was born on January 28, 1979 in Annapolis, Maryland. He departed this life on December 23, 2019.
Terrence, known to family and friends as “Doodle Hicks” and “Whitey” attended Anne Arundel County Public Schools system. He furthered his educational training through Oasis Trade School in Baltimore City, where he earned his Operator Certification for Forklift. He was employed by Bates Trucking in Hanover, Maryland.
Terrence was known for his bright smile, and huge heart. Everything that he did was from his heart. He was a protector and selfless giver. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games. He had a special tenderness when it came to children, they all loved him.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Tyneka Hicks, two children, Shy’tiara and Daquan Hicks; 3 bonus sons: Quandre, Temisje, and Calvin; mother, Lenora Stansbury (Late Terry) of Annapolis; brother, Kyle Porter; sister, Kelly Porter, sister (cousin) Keshawna Pack, all of Annapolis MD; mother-in-law Robin Hawkins, father-in-law Todd (Zena) Brown; seven brother-in-laws; one sister-in-law; two nephews: Keharee and Kyrin; one niece, Paige; two god children Khy’mani and Klaye; a host of dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, with special acknowledgement to Mr. Robert and the late Rev. Callie Matthews.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Terrence Hicks, Sr.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hilton (Nola) Stansbury, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Teresa) Hicks, all of Annapolis, MD.
