Susan Christine Malenab's Obituary
Susan Christine Malenab, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in the morning hours of July 10, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on June 12, 1946, in Groveport, Ohio, Susan was the middle of five children and grew up with a heart full of compassion, creativity, and quiet strength.
On July 2, 1965, she married the love of her life, Joe DeAsis Malenab, Jr. Together they shared 42 beautiful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion, before his passing. Their life together was a testament to enduring partnership and unconditional love.
Susan is survived by her loving sister, Deborah Clonch, and her devoted children: Joe Malenab, III (Jennifer Malenab), Christine Crucioli (Joseph Crucioli), Janeane Clark, and Alita Seddon (Paul Seddon).
She was a proud grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply and loved unconditionally.
Susan had a gift for bringing beauty into the world. Whether through her passion for baking, cooking, painting, or arts and crafts, she poured her heart into everything she created. Her home was always filled with warmth—the smell of something delicious in the oven, the comfort of conversation, and the joy of togetherness. Above all, she found her greatest happiness in time spent with friends and family.
Her legacy is one of kindness, creativity, and unwavering love. She had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen, comforted, and welcomed. The memories she created will live on through the hands she held, the meals she shared, and the lives she touched.
Susan will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
