Susan Diane Engel's Obituary
Susan Diane Engel passed away peacefully on the evening of January 7, 2026, while surrounded by love from her family and friends. She was the best mom and grandmother, as well as an avid gardener, artist, jewelry maker, and margarita enthusiast. She spent her free time creating as much as she could because she believed the world could always use more color.
She is survived by her daughter Rachel Stuck (husband Skyler), father James Pauley, sister Lynne Salyers, brother James Pauley (wife Christine), adorable and loving partner in life George Cook, step-daughters Megan Flaherty (husband Shaun), Molly McKnew (husband Matthew), Maureen Anderson (husband Chris), grandchildren Tyler Stuck, Emilia McKnew and Josiah McKnew, and nephews Ian Salyers and Andrew Pauley. She is preceded in death by her mother Eileen Pauley, sister Erin Pauley, and brother Jeffrey Pauley.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 31 at 10 am, Mariners Church, Annapolis, Maryland.
Since Sue lived her life in color, her family requests that you refrain from wearing black and, instead, wear colors and florals as we celebrate her life together.
