Steven was such an incredibly intelligent, sweet, and fun person. I remember meeting him at Long Reach HS and it was apparent immediately just how joyful and laid back he was. He lit up every room he walked in and got along instantly with everyone he met. I remember his huge smile and loud laugh, and most of all his endless dancing! Always bobbing his head along to the music he loved of all different genres. He'd pull anyone in too twirl them around and get them dancing too 😊 We would go for long car rides to nowhere just dancing and singing and laughing, being carefree kids. Life got difficult as we all got older and spread apart to our different lives but anytime anyone needed him - Steven was there, with a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen to your troubles, or a dollar to lend.
We shared so many memories - going to amusement parks and riding roller coasters that he loved, hanging out around our friends houses listening to music and having fun, going to Ocean City for senior week in 2006 with a car full of friends to stay in a cabin...
Steven was an incredible soul. Wise beyond his years from the moment I met him. I've never known someone so passionate and full of fun personality. He was a rare kind of person and not one who could ever be replaced. His loss is a deep one and my family and I are heartbroken. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Norris family as we mourn the loss of such a special man.
