Shirley "Mimi" Jean Hein's Obituary
Shirley “Mimi” Jean Hein was born November 12, 1939 in Williamson, West Virginia to Floyd and Ethel “Marie” Kirk. She had one sibling, younger broth Elmo “Bubby” Kirk.
Mimi went to Chattaroy High School where she graduated in 1957. She married Joe Enochs in 1958 and had a son, Joseph Michael, in 1959. She worked for the West Virginia telephone company until she moved to Washington, DC. There, she met John Pappanicholas and had her first daughter, Elaine. She me the “love of her life”, Dave Hein and the two were married in 1965. In 1967, Mimi’s second daughter, Sherri was born. Shirley worked as a purchasing agent with the United States Department of Agriculture for 20 years. Her favorite things were going out to dinner, watching “The Young and the Restless”, the Washington Redskins, doing ceramics, and watching Samantha dance. At the time of her death, she resided in Bowie, MD with her daughter Sherri and grand daughter Samantha.
She is survived by her daughters Sherri Nash and Elaine Lambert; ex son-in-law, Chet Nash; grandchildren: Shera Hill and family, Shannon Hein and family, Samantha Nash, Sara and Shianne Hein, and Andrew, Ashley, and Matthew Lambert; two great grandchildren: Ava and Jackson; her beloved dog, Sandy; and her honorary daughter Sandy Najmy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dave; brother, Bubby; son, Mike; and grandson, Mikey.
She was always surrounded by LOTS of loving friends and family.
