Shirley Ann Belt's Obituary
Shirley Belt, daughter of James and Hazel Belt, departed this life on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
Shirley was known as Aunt Bird, and was born on December 1, 1951. She graduated from Southern High School in 1969.
Throughout Shirley’s life she enjoyed bingo, playing Jeopardy and knowing “All” the answers, cards, and her family. She talked about Kenny Mills, the old houses she grew up in, and Caleb, her great-grandson. They were the best of friends.
She leaves behind two daughters, Lisa Griffin and Tashea Saunder (Wilkerson); son-in-law, Reginald Wilkerson; four grandchildren, Diamond, Damion, and Dayrra Joyce, and Deonta Campbell; one great-grandson, Caleb Joyce; two sisters, Darlene colbert and Christine Belt; and a host of nieces and nephews, too many to count.
