Sheniece Shonta McGowan's Obituary
Sheniece McGowan, was born to Louis and Darlene McGowan on November 15th, 1985, in Annapolis, MD. Sheniece was granted her wings to soar heaven’s garden on April 12th, 2023.
Sheniece received her formal education within the Anne Arundel County Public Schools. After graduating high school, Sheniece gained employment with Ginger Cove, she held a care giver position there for over a tenure of 20 years.
Sheniece was a dedicated mother. She treasured her daughter, Skylar and embraced every moment with her. Motherhood served as a catalyst for her personal elevation.
Sheniece loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed music and held a diverse taste. Sheniece was a fun, quick witted, and easy person to talk to. She had an interest in many things, you would find yourself engrossed in a conversation for hours on any number of topics.
Sheniece’s spirit and personality was contagious to everyone she met. The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy. Holding an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities, she was a true example of what it meant to be an angel on earth.
Sheniece’s life may seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Sheniece’s life was a blessing, memories will be deeply cherished by parents Louis and Darlene McGowan; beloved daughter Skylar Blair; treasured sisters, Lakyra Herndon (Chad), and Jazmine Mc Gowan; adored nephews, Kyran Stansbury, Ka’Vion Stansbury and Ky’Rec Johnson; loving aunts and uncles; Angela Green, Christine Green, Sonji Green, Dorcell Holland, Pamela Hyman, Theresa McGowan, Gerald Diggs, Pedro Green, and Rondo Green; loving godson, Qwamain Martin; Host of avid cousins; Devoted friends Cassandra, Angel, Sherenia and Devonia.
Sheniece was preceded in death by her behold grandparents; Elmer and Naomi Elliot, Sylvester and Alverta Green, Louis McGowan Sr; cherished aunts and uncles; Derwin McGowan, Donald Green, Reno Green, Sylvester Green, Cassandra Johnson, Reginald McGowan, Daryl Green, Terry Johnson, Robert Green, Cheryl Belt, Tara Green-Hayes, Ronaldo Green and Kevin McGowan.
