Sharon Elaine Logan's Obituary
Sharon E. Logan
7/4/1944 – 1/12/2026
Sharon Elaine Logan, 81, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at Sunrise Senior Living in Annapolis, MD.
She was born in Washington, DC, the daughter of Miriam Gertrude Logan and Richard Wesley Logan but lived the majority of her life in Maryland. She was survived by a family that loved her dearly including her son Shawn Way and his fiancé Elizabeth Smith, her daughter Robin Hamilton and her husband Scott Hamilton, many nieces and nephews, her grand dog Sefi, and grand cats Oscar and Neko. She is also survived by many friends whom she loved as if they were part of her family. Family and friends were everything to her and she was always there for them, no matter what, providing unconditional love, support, and guidance. She was kind, loving, strong, protective, and oh so generous, the type of person that would sacrifice anything and everything for those she loved.
Although the hearts of her family and friends are broken into a million pieces, there is a sense of comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering and is at peace. She will be missed every moment of every day by her family and friends but her legacy will live on through her children and in all our hearts and memories.
The family is honoring her wishes for no funeral service. If anyone would like to pay their respects, she asked that donations be made in her name to any animal rescue organization as she loved being a grandma to many dogs and cats over the years.
