Sharon Addison's Obituary
Sharon Lockwood Addison was born on April 7, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ to Miriam (Quirk) Lockwood and the late Charles Lockwood, Jr. She attended Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey; graduating class of 1963. She then continued her education at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York; graduating in 1966. She began a career in retail merchandising, working as a buyer for Bambergers, Saks Fifth Avenue, Filene’s and Country Curtains in Connecticut. She later began her own business, Carriage Curtains. Her last three places of employment were Lilyette and Sterling in New York and St. John Knits in Queenstown.
On April 12, 1997, she married Kenneth Wynn Addison and resided in Red Bank, NJ. In 1999, they moved to Queenstown, MD and in 2015 to Annapolis, MD.
Sharon was an active member of the Democratic Club of Queen Anne’s County.
In addition to her husband, Ken, she is survived by two step daughters, Julie Addison and Helen Addison; and two brothers, Charles Lockwood III and Mark Lockwood.
